NutFact: Probiotics

PROBIOTICS.  Did you know that you have bacteria in your gut?  Don’t worry – it is good bacteria, known as probiotics!  Probiotics help keep the natural balance of good and bad bacteria in check by reducing the harmful bacteria’s growth.  One common type of probiotic is Lactobacillus acidophilus, which is found in yogurt.  We have all types of yogurts in the kitchen – try out Dannon lite, Fage 0%, Activia or Fage 1% with honey.

  1. You’d do properly to include leafy dark natural salad vegetables within your meals
    each day – there is hardly any calories in a salad but lots of nutrients and alkaline goodness
    - dark natural leafy vegetables are amazingly alkalizing so
    knock yourself out :-) Love. You can either add an equal volume of eggs to this mixture to bind or
    not use eggs to produce the most water-soluble baits.
    It withdraws nearly 50% of the harmful fat present in the meat.
